Imagine asking someone to send you crypto. You copy a wallet address, send it over chat, and hope nothing was changed along the way. The sender has to trust that the address, amount, and payment details are all correct. One mistake, one tampered message, or one copied wrong address can mean an irreversible loss. Vajra rethinks that experience. Instead of trusting a pasted address, the recipient creates an authenticated payment request with exact terms. The sender verifies the recipient, amount, expiry, and request integrity before paying. Every request can only be settled once, creating a permanent onchain receipt that anyone can independently verify. I built Vajra to make crypto payments feel as trustworthy and predictable as modern consumer payment apps while preserving the transparency and self-custody of blockchain. Building Vajra also reinforced an important lesson: great financial products are not defined by beautiful interfaces alone. They are built through thoughtful UX, honest transaction states, clear error handling, strong security boundaries, and reducing uncertainty at every step of the payment journey.
