# SquadPay ## Overview SquadPay is an experimental social payment prototype created to explore a more intuitive and social way to send crypto using NFT identity instead of wallet addresses. Instead of copying long wallet addresses, users can identify recipients through: * NFT PFPs * .nad usernames * holder profiles * visual confirmation before sending --- ## Features ### Social Payments SquadPay enables direct MON transfers on Monad through a more visual and community-oriented experience. ### NFT Discovery The platform includes: * visual NFT browsing * search by NFT or username * holder selection * paginated discovery ### Giveaway Mode The app also includes a Giveaway tab, where users define an amount of MON and randomly send it to a 10K holder. The feature was designed for: * community events * Discord calls * livestreams * interactive giveaways --- ## Future Direction A future version could allow: * giveaway participation through links * registration-based events * automatic verification for 10K holders The goal is to create more interactive social experiences for NFT communities. --- ## Motivation SquadPay was created to explore how NFT identity and social interaction can improve the crypto payment experience. The Buildanythingso initiative from Monad was also an important part of the learning process during development. Although still experimental, the project aims to explore new social primitives for onchain communities.
