ReturnBond

ReturnBond makes lending everyday physical items safer and less awkward. It gives the owner, borrower, and neutral arbiter a shared onchain agreement, while the borrower’s MON security deposit is held by a smart contract instead of the owner. Built on Monad Testnet, ReturnBond supports the complete lending lifecycle: agreement creation, deposit funding, handover confirmation, return proof, refunds, damage and overdue claims, borrower acceptance or dispute, and neutral arbiter resolution. Every transaction is role-restricted, deadline-aware, simulated before wallet approval, and verified again using live contract state. Transaction hashes remain visible and link directly to MonadVision. While building ReturnBond, I learned how to design a practical multi-role onchain workflow, safely manage native-token escrow, enforce contract deadlines, validate wallet state, and verify transactions beyond receipt success.
