PrivateCloud is a decentralized private storage system that combines client-side encryption, blockchain authentication, blockchain payment verification, and distributed storage nodes to provide secure and reliable file storage for individuals and businesses. We have Problem : Recent incidents have shown that even large cloud storage providers are vulnerable to outages caused by centralized infrastructure. For example, in February 2025, Cloudflare's R2 object storage experienced a global outage after an operational error disabled its production gateway, causing upload and download failures across the service despite no data loss. Such incidents demonstrate the risks of relying on a single storage provider or gateway. I've the solution Solution : PrivateCloud addresses these challenges by distributing encrypted files across multiple independent storage nodes instead of a single centralized server. Files are encrypted on the client before upload, replicated across multiple nodes for redundancy, authenticated using blockchain wallets, and protected through blockchain-verified storage payments. This architecture improves privacy, fault tolerance, and user control while reducing the impact of failures affecting individual storage nodes. *( IMPORTANT NOTE ) this product is mvp and hasn't deployed yet, to run or test you need to install repo and test locally. locally includes Disk Storage( to run storage nodes to test node behavior and storage logic closely ), localhost, installing dependencies.
