I built PriFi Wallet, a privacy-preserving crypto wallet on Monad that enables anonymous deposits, transfers, and withdrawals using Zero-Knowledge Proofs (zk-SNARKs). Instead of exposing wallet balances, transaction links, and user identities like traditional blockchains, PriFi uses encrypted note commitments, Merkle trees, Poseidon hashing, nullifiers, and relayer-based transaction broadcasting to provide private on-chain transactions while preventing double-spending. Building PriFi gave me hands-on experience with designing and implementing zk circuits in Circom, generating proofs with snarkjs, integrating Solidity verifier contracts, building a relayer architecture, and creating a complete end-to-end privacy system with a React frontend and Node.js backend. It also taught me the practical challenges of making advanced cryptography usable in a real wallet experience. Beyond PriFi, I'm now building its next evolution: Menoid, a privacy wallet for the multichain world. Menoid expands private transactions into a complete wallet experience with support for Monad, Ethereum, Base, Solana, Sui, and Aptos. The browser extension is already functional, while the web and mobile applications are currently under development, bringing privacy to users across multiple blockchain ecosystems.
