Pixel Bloom: Global Community Garden

What I built I built Pixel Bloom for the Monad "build anything" challenge. It’s a real-time, multiplayer pixel tree that the whole internet grows together. You water the tree (with a 30-min cooldown to keep it balanced), and it visually upgrades through 3 stages. At 60 drops, it permanently archives to a community orchard! It also features a live leaderboard, floating animations, and a little Chog cat that actually goes to sleep when it's night time IRL. The problem I solved Most web games or community projects have way too much friction just to get started. I wanted to solve the "annoying sign-up" problem and create a simple, cozy environment to bring the Monad community together for a shared goal. I made it completely frictionless—it uses local browser storage, so you just type a name and instantly jump in to help grow the tree. What I learned I learned that vibe-coding is a heavily iterative process. Things never work perfectly on the first try, and you have to constantly refine the logic. The biggest learning moment was when my Replit credits actually ran out right at the end of the project, which forced me to dive into the code and figure out how to do the final deployment and setup completely manually!
