On-Chain Pizzeria

I built On-Chain Pizzeria, a fast-paced time-management game deployed on the Monad Testnet. Players take on the role of a chef who must fulfill highly specific and complex customer orders before time runs out. For example, a user might need to quickly assemble a Bol Malzemos on a thin crust with absolutely no sesame, topped with samuray and sweet chili sauce. Successfully serving a streak of perfect orders triggers a smart contract, allowing players to mint an exclusive Master Chef NFT directly to their wallet. It explores digital media innovation by gamifying the often dry Web3 onboarding process. Most blockchain testnet applications are purely financial and can intimidate newcomers. This project introduces a familiar restaurant simulation to make interacting with decentralized networks fun. It encourages everyday users to test the transaction speeds of the Monad network and experience smart contracts in a highly engaging environment. I learned how to seamlessly blend high-energy React game mechanics with Web3 interactions. Managing a ticking countdown timer while ensuring accurate state updates for precise ingredient combinations improved my frontend optimization skills. Furthermore, integrating ethers.js to trigger the NFT minting process upon a specific win condition solidified my understanding of connecting dynamic user interfaces to on-chain logic.
