Milestone Vault is a milestone based escrow protocol built on Monad Testnet. Investors lock full project funding into a smart contract at the start, then release it in stages as builders complete verified milestones , removing the need for either party to trust the other with money upfront. Builders can request scheduled milestone payouts or adhoc funds with a written reason, investors approve or reject each request with a single wallet signature. If a rejection is disputed, an independent arbiter reviews the evidence and decides who the funds go to, protecting builders from being unfairly denied payment for real work. I built this because I kept seeing the same failure mode in Web3 and freelance funding. money changes hands before trust is verified. Our solution keeps funds under contract control the entire time, releasing capital only against proof of progress. Building this taught me how much dispute handling matters in trustless systems , the escrow logic itself was the easy part, designing a fair, tamper resistant path for disagreements was the real engineering challenge.
