Handshake is payment-protected handoff for informal digital work, on Monad testnet. A $125 brand kit that today lives in a Discord DM gets a real escrow contract: payment locks in USDC before anyone ships, the freelancer encrypts the file in-browser so the original never leaves their control, and the contract releases both at once on approval — money to the freelancer, decryption key to the client. Every edge case has a rule written in code: ghosting triggers auto-release, disappearance triggers refund, disputes go to an arbiter. No platform in the middle. The contract holds the risk for both.
